DatingCenters.com (the "Service"), operated by Gallimore Software LLC, is a dating site: it only works if you share things about yourself. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you keep over it.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), and birthdate for age verification.
- Profile information: your display name, gender, who you are looking for, city, bio, and interests.
- Photos: images you upload to your profile, up to six. We store the files and use them only to display your profile.
- Messages: messages you send to your matches, so we can deliver them and so you can read your history.
- Usage and activity: likes, passes, matches, blocks, and reports, plus basic operational data such as login times and session activity needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use it
- To operate the Service: show your profile to other members, deliver your messages, and manage matches.
- To keep the Service safe: verify you are 18 or older, review safety reports, and remove accounts that violate our Terms.
- To run and improve the site: understand usage patterns and fix problems.
We do not use your data to sell advertising profiles, and we do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing.
Photo handling
Photos you upload are stored on our servers and shown to other members as part of your profile. They are never used for advertising or shared with third parties. Deleting a photo removes the file from active storage; deleting your account removes all of them.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It is set when you log in, is required for the Service to work, and expires when you log out or your session ends. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings, we permanently delete your profile, photos, messages, likes, matches, and account record. We may retain limited records required by law (for example, to resolve fraud or safety investigations) and anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you.
No sale of data
We never sell your personal information. We never have, and we never will. Your data exists to run this dating site, not as a product.
Your choices
- Edit your profile, photos, bio, and interests at any time.
- Block any member; blocked members cannot see your profile.
- Delete your account at any time from Settings.
